LAHORE: The Lahore Arts Council (LAC) will set up a souvenir shop and a bool( corner at the Alhamra Art Centre, The Mall.
The council officials said different articles like shirts, pens, ashtrays, models of music instruments and emblems of Alhamra building would be put on sale at the shop.
LAC Assistant Admin Khurrram Naveel would look after the souvenir project and the book corner.
The book corner would be established either in an old van or another location near the cafeteria.
`The souvenir shop aims at promoting the premier cultural body of the city. The souvenirs would also be presented to foreign dignitaries on their visits. The book corner is being designed and it would have books on art, literature and other subjects.
