KARACHI: Top seeds Tayyab Aslam and Muhammad Imad have secured their places in the final of the ninth Jahangir Khan PSA Series Challenger Squash Tournament following semifinal victories on Friday.
In the first semi-final at the Jahangir Khan Sports Club, Tayyab Aslam (Sui Northern Gas Company) defeated Varun Asif of Punjab 3-0. The match concluded in 22 minutes with scores of 11-2, 11-4 and 11-0.
The second semi-final saw Muhammad Imad (Air Force) overcome Saddam ul Haq (Army) 3-1 in a 49-minute contest. Imad secured victory with scores of11-5,6-11,14-12 and11-8.
The tournament final, featuring a $3,000 prize purse, will commence at 4:00 PM on Saturday.
