GUJAR KHAN: A son of a spiritual leader was killed while his relative seriously injured when two people on a motorcycle opened fire on them near Daultala town on Thursday.

According to sources, Nayyar Shah, son of a wellknown spiritual figure of the area, and his cousin Zahid Shah were returning to their shrine in Hassal Sharif after purchasing a carton of milk.As their bike passed a deserted area, two men appeared from the bushes and shot the two.

According to sources, Nayyar Shah died on the spot and his body was shifted to THQ hospital for autopsy.

His cousin, Zahid Hussain, was taken to Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi. According to police, family rivalry might be the cause of the murder, SHO Jatli police station said.Correspondent
