REFERENCE Moniza Inam`s article, `Gathering the creative nomads` (Eos, Sept 24). Khanabadosh Writers` Cafe is a unique and historic initiative by a group of women activists led by Amar Sindhu Addressing the very core notion of shared public space and reviving the autaq concept in a modern era by an academic-cum-activist, the cafe serves as a platform for social change through culturaland literary activities.
Despite many difficulties, Khanabadosh is mal(ing all-out efforts to organise events where like-minded people meet for cerebral discourse. Such healthyinitiatives guarantee a better future for our society if it is to thrive intellectually.
