LAHORE: The Punjab government has appointed Prof Dr Jodat Saleem as the principal of Ameeruddin Medical College (AMC), Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) and the Lahore General Hospital.

A notification in this regard was issued here onFriday, says a statement.

Speaking about his appointment, Prof Saleem expressed his firm resolve to make the provision of high-quality medical facilities to patients at LGH.

He said the institution`s feedback and monitoring systems would be further activated and strengthened to ensure no shortcoming in patient care.
