Disney`s 1973 animated classic Robin Hood is getting a new ongoing comic series from Dynamite Entertainment, 52 years after the film`s release.

Written by Nate Cosby and Greg Weisman, with artwork by Alessandro Ranaldi, the series brings back Robin Hood, Little John and other characters in a new story set in Sherwood Forest.The first issue follows Robin as he breaks into Prince John`s castle every day for a week, leaving everyone wondering what he is stealing.

The comic aims to recreate the look of the original film while giving it a modern, colourful style.

Disney`s Robin Hood #1 will be released on November 11, 2026.
