REFERENCE your news report saying the government is considering revising the quota system. I agree that the quota system should be revised to meet the challenges ofthe underdeveloped areasin terms of facilities and not just jobs.
However, I would request that the current system of division of urban and rural areas in Sindh should be extended to all provinces. If it is considered good for Sindh, why not then for Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa? It should be implemented in all provinces or withdrawn from all provinces.
The poor people of urban Sindh have been marginalised in the matter of employment for the last 40 years on this pretext.
