RAWALPINDI: As many as 66 Pakistanis deported by British authorities arrived at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Wednesday.

However, seven of the deportees were taken into custody by the Federal Investigation Agency`s immigration staff for investigation.

According to a senior official of immigration, a special aircraft with 66 Pakistani deportees landed at BBIA at about 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Later the 57 Pakistanis were briefly interviewed by the federal investigation agency`s immigration officials and allowed to go to their homes after verification.

However, seven deportees were shifted to the AntiHuman Trafficking cell for investigation as they their travel documents were found suspicious. Staff Reporter
