PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has dissolved the Board of Governors of the medical teaching institution Nowshera with immediate ef fect.

A notification issued here by the health department said that in the exercise of powers conferred by Section 15 read with Section 20 of KP General Clauses Act 1956 and Section 20(1) of KP MTI Reforms Act 2015, chief minister dissolved the BoG of medical teaching institution Nowshera. It said that exercising his powers conferred by Section 22 of KP MTI Reforms Act 2015, chief minister authorised the health secretary to act as BoG for the medical teaching institution Nowshera till constitution of its BoG.

Another notification issued here said that chief minister accepted resignation of Tariq Ahmed Khan as BoG member of Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad.
