LAHORE: The boys` and girls` events in the Under-19 category of the National Junior Badminton Championship, ongoing here at the Nishtar Sports Complex, entered the semi-final stage on Wednesday.

The U-15 and U-17 competitions also reached the quarter-finals. In the U-19 men`s singles Inayat Fareed, M. Tahir Subhani, Abdullah Tahir, Haroon Khuram, Mohammad Ahmad Gujjar and Junaid Tariq all from Punjab made the last four. Mohammad Hashir and Mohammad Taimur from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also qualified for the semi-finals.
