ISLAMABAD: The mother of Raja Javed Khan, an employee of Dawn, passed away on Thursday at the age of 71.

She was admitted to a local hospital after a cardiac arrest.

She is survived by six sons and grandchildren.

The body was taken to her ancestral village of Jabbori Chela Bagh near Mansehra.

Rasm-i-Qul will be held in the village at 11am on Jan 28 (Saturday).
