ISLAMABAD: Pakistan`s Davis Cup squad on Sunday left for Kazakhstan to play their World Group I playoff tie in Astana.

The matches are scheduled to take place on Feb 1-2.

The five-member Pakistan team contains veteran Ageel Khan and Mohammad Shoaib, Muzammil Murtaza, Huzaifa Abdul Rehman and Ahmad Nael.

Mohammad Haseeb Aslam is accompanying the team as captain and Mohammad Shahid as physio.

Haseeb expressed confidence in the players` abilities and their determination to perform at their best against a strong Kazakh side.-Sports Reporter
