LAHORE: The historical Hamdan Holdings Punjab Polo Cup 2018 will stroll into action here at the Lahore Polo Club (LPC) ground on Tuesday.

The Punjab Cup polo trophy happens to be the oldest trophy being played in Pakistan having been introduced in 1886.

The top seven teams have been divided into two pools.

Pool A has Master Paints Blacks, Master Paints/Rizvi`s, Diamond Paints/Guard Rice and Army while Pool B has Newage/BBJ Pipes, Rijas Aces/PAF and Barry`s.

The opening match will be played between Newage/ BBJ Pipes and Rijas Aces/ PAF. The league matches will continue till Friday while the subsidiary and main finals will be playe d on Sunday.-Sports Reporter
