Shujaat for APC on price hike

By Our Correspondent 2019-03-27
SIALKOT: PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has advised the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government to convene an all-parties conference on the one-point agenda of controlling price hike and steering the country out of the prevailing economic crisis.

Talking to journalists here on Tuesday, Mr Hussain said it was need of the hour that the PTl should call an APC to take other political parties into confidence regarding price hike and finding out a way to provide maximum relief to the people by controlling rising inflation.

He also suggested the government must reconsider its decision to declare some political parties as defunct and banned.

He welcomed the news that off-shore reservoirs of gas and oil were being explored near Karachi.

He said the political alliance between PML-Q and the PTl was going `very successful`.

He said the PTl government would have to approach the IMF for getting heavy loans to stabilise the national economy.

Regarding the PPP`s ongoing `train march`, Mr Hussain said chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari was `still a child who was playing a political train game` in the country.SIALKOT: PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has advised the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government to convene an all-parties conference on the one-point agenda of controlling price hike and steering the country out of the prevailing economic crisis.
