LAHORE: The Badami Bagh police claimed to have arrested four suspects allegedly involved in stealing officially supplied medicines from the Mayo Hospital.

The police conducted a raid following complaints that the hospital`s employee was operating a network and stealing the medicines, as well as medical equipment, from the government health facility.

During the raid, the police team recovered from the suspects some 16 cartons of medicines, which were supplied to the Mayo Hospital bearing `Not for sale` instruction.

The police shifted the suspects to police station for questioning and later lodged an FIR against them.
