Saeed sees foreign hand in sectarian violence

SAHIWAL: If Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) is behind spreading sectarian violence and terrorist attacks in Pakistan, it must be countered with the same force.

Prof Hafiz Saeed, the emir of Jammatud Dawa, said this while addressing a gathering under `Farooghi-Pakistan Conference` at Pakpattan on Wednesday.

He said both the US and India were destabilising Pakistan by creating sectar-ian issues and unrest. He also accused the both countries of sponsoring separatist movements in Balochistan and Karachi just to disintegrate Pakistan.

He was hopeful that the ongoing operation in Karachi and other parts of Pakistan would succeed and help unearth foreign intelligence networks operating in the country.

Hafiz Saeed supported Chinese investment in the country, saying those wanting to disrupt this were behind spread of terrorism and sectarianism in Pakistan.
