QUETTA: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said Pakistan is facing threats from internal and external terrorism.

The KP governor, who was in Quetta on Monday, said the armed forces gave a `befitting response` to external aggression and would deal with internal saboteurs with the same resolve and strength.

Accompanied by Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, the KP governor visited the CMH, Quetta, to inquire after the health of students injured in the attack on a school bus in Khuzdar.

CM Bugti announced a compensation of Rs1 million each for the families of the martyrs and Rs500,000 for the injured.

Speaking to the media, Governor Kundi and CM Bugti condemned the attack and blamed `India-backed terrorists` for targeting children. `The terrorists supported by India have once again shown their cowardice by targeting our innocent children,` they said.
