India releases 11 Pakistanis

LAHORE: India released 11 Pakistani prisoners, including a woman and a minor girl, as a goodwill gesture on Wednesday.
The Indian authorities handed over the prisoners to Pakistan Ranger (Punjab) officials at Wagah border.
Edhi Foundation officials served food, snacks and beverages to the repatriated prisoners.
Pakistan Rangers later handed over all the prisoners to the officials of Edhi Foundation who took them to the Edhi Home, a shelter, in Gulberg area.
Edhi Foundation spokesperson said the released prisoners would be sent back to their homes soon.
The released prisoners were identified as Abdul Qadir, Iftikharul Haq, Noor Islam, Rasheed, Akhtar Husain, Safdar Ali, Shoukat Ali, Labnan Ali, Shehzad, Robina and Musawara.
