I WANT to draw attention towards the letter `Mistake` (Aug 21).
Vacation and holiday are words with similar meanings. They both describe days when you don`t go to work or school.
However, there are differences between them.
Holidays are for everyone; vacations often involve travel. The rules above are for American English.I think British English uses `holiday` in both cases. In Pakistan we mostly follow British English. So it`s okay to use vacation or holidays.
