B A H A WA L P U R : Three policemen including an SHO were shot at and injured by a mob during a raid to arrest two proclaimed offenders at Basti Terahazar Khan on Thursday night.

DPO Aibadat Nisar`s PRO Aamir Nazir said Head Rajkan SHO Inspector Ghazanafar, ASI Izharul Hassan and constable Sibtain were injured when a mob snatched the rifle of the constable and opened fire on the policemen.

After the call for reinforcement, more policemen joined the operation and arrested proclaimed offenders Juma Khan and Abbas Khan.

ACCIDENT: A man was killed and another was injured in a road accident.

Baqir Hussain, a motorcyclist was killed and another was injured when two two-wheelers collided head-on at Hussaini Chowk near Satellite Town. The injured was shifted to the Bahawal Victoria Hospital. Correspondent
