LAHORE: A teenager, who was stabbed allegedly by some unknown person(s) in Mozang, succumbed to his injuries at Services Hospital on Monday.

Police said that an unidentified man brought the injured, Irfan, 18, to hospital and then disappeared after handing him over to the staff.

The hospitalstaffalerted the police which shifted the body to the morgue.

Police registered a murder case againsttheunidentifiedperson(s) and started investigating.

Investigating Officer/SubInspector Abdul Hameed said the identity of the person who shifted the boy for treatment was being established with the help of hospital`s CCTV footage.

He said the duty staff was also being investigated as to why it did not get the detail of the injured boy to complete legal formalities.
