GUJRANWALA: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to investigate the burning of Nandipur power project`s oil purchase record and sought details of the case from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

The bureau is already looking into delay in the completion of the project on the direction of the Supreme Court.

The oil purchase record was burned in 2014. A case was registered by the Aroop police then. Later, the probe was assigned to the FIA.

The outgoing PML-N government had also formed a committee for investigation.

Sources said now the NAB had decided to investigate the case and sought entire record from the FIA.
