KARACHI: Nine representatives of The Citizen Foundation (TCF) are going to participate in London Marathon to raise awareness regarding the TCP initiative towards fundraising for flood relief.

`Team TCP has aligned to hold a`send-off` for the TCP London Marathon Team,` said a press release issued here on Monday.

The London Marathon would be held on Oct 2, where nine TCF`s runners will participate and raise funds for flood relief.

The press release said TCP through its flood relief appeal was helping in addressing immediateneeds and enabling rehabilitation of flood-affected people in the future.

The foundation has planned to provide one million meals to f amilies who havelost allmeansof sustainingthemselves, help reconstruct homes for 5,000 families once the floodwaters recede and ensure the rehabilitation of damaged schools.
