QUETTA: Two persons were burnt to death when a pick-up carrying Iranian oil caught fire after an armed attack in Mashkel border area of Washuk on Sunday.

According to sources, some men intercepted the vehicle coming toMashkel from the Iranian border area and opened fire on it, injuring two people who were in it.

As a result of the firing, the vehicle caught fire and both of them were burnt to death.

`The victims belonged to Mashkel,` Levies officials said, adding that the attackers had escaped.
