QUETTA: An official of the Aga Khan Laboratories kidnapped from Quetta about five months ago was freed by policein Loralaion Sunday.

CCPO Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema said at a press conference on Sunday that Irfan Serani was 1(idnapped from the city`s Jinnah Town area on June 4. The kidnappers demanded Rs50 million for his release. SSP Investigation Asad Raza and SSP operations Aetezaz Guraya were present.

The CCPO said that on a tip-off a police party raided a place in Loralai and found Mr Serani there. The man was freed without any resistance, he added.

The CCPO said police had been making efforts to trace Mr Serani since he was kidnapped.

He said police had got freed 16 of 25 people kidnapped in the province this year and arrested over two dozen suspects.-Staff Correspondent
