Reserves down by $151m

KARACHI: Pakistan`s total liquid foreign exchange reserves amounted to $19.9 billion on Oct 20, down $150.8 million or 0.75 per cent from a week ago, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.
Reserves of the SBP decreased $216m to $13.9bn due to payments on account of external debt servicing.
Net foreign exchange reserves held by commercial banks amounted to $5.9bn on Oct 20, up 1.1pc from the preceding week.
