MAY we not see the day when pedestrians are arrested by the police because they were walking or standing off the footpaths which have been grabbed by encroachers.
Unfortunately, a similar treatment is being meted out to parked vehicles which are removed by the police, which should instead remove the encroachments which block roads. I wonder when our authorities will grow up and stop putting the cart before the horse.
