T HE Americans` `do more` mantra continues to harangue Pakistan whereas this country has done more than its share for the United States by giving full support to Washington in America`s war on terror.
Ourleaders`perennialefforts to appease the US is the reason why Pakistan is not achieving any of its development goals.
It is time that Islamabad should tell the US that enough is enough. Pakistan has to protect its own interests. If Pakistan is to `do more`, then it should `do more` for the betterment of the Pakistani people. The government needs to `do more` in the education, health and economy sectors.
The government and the people need to `do more` to achieve the objectives of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
At the same time all Pakistanis should say `no more` to corruption, parochialism and nepotism.
To quote a great statesman, and the founder of this nation: We are, once again, in a `now or never` situation. Let every Pakistani step forward to put the country back on the track that leads to prosperity, peace and progress.
