GUJRAT: A man was killed during a dacoity near Randhir Khokharan stop along Bhagowal Road late on Friday.

Rashid Ali, of Bhagowal, was coming on his tractor trolley when two armed men signalled him to stop, which he ignored. The suspects opened fire inflicting bullet injuries on him.

The robbers took away Rs225,000 cash from the pocket of injured Ali.

He was shifted to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital where he died.

Ali`s heirs staged a demonstration against the incident and demanded the arrest of the murderers.
