TOBA TEK SINGH: A man was burnt alive when a fire broke out in a house at Pirmahal late on Friday, police said.

Mushtaq Ahmad, 50, of Talumba (Khanewal), had come to his brother-in-law Liaqat All to attend thewedding ceremony of his son in Madina Colony.

After attending the henna function, he slept in an upper storey room of the house where the fire erupted because of a cigarette.

The family said they came to know about the fire when it spread to other rooms.
