Leaders of all-party alliance asked to end Gwadar sit-in

GWADAR: The deputy commissioner of Gwadar has asked leaders of an all-party alliance to end their ongoing protest sit-in in Gwadar as the provincial government has imposed Section 144 in Gwadar and all parts of Balochistan.
The Gwadar DC issued an official notification in this regard and said that the sit-in must immediately be called off in view of the imposition of Section 144.
The decision, according to the DC, has been made in the light of deteriorating law and order situation in the area.
The district administration said the government was aware of the demands of the alliance leaders and progress has been made on several points after negotiations held with leaders of the alliance.
The DC said that Section 144 has been imposed across Balochistan by the provincial government to prevent any untoward incident
The notification directed leaders of the National Party, PML-N and PTI to immediately end their protest sit-in.
