ISLAMABAD: The government has appointed a senior customs officer, Faiz Ahmad, as the new chief executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) as part of a transformation plan to facilitate exports from the country.
The post fell vacant following the resignation of Karachi-based industrialist Zubair Motiwala lastweek, who assumed the TDAP charge in November 2022.
Mr Faiz, a BS-22 officer of the Pakistan Customs Service, will serve as CEO of TDAP on a deputation basis on standard terms and conditions with immediate effect, according to the Cabinet Division notification issued on Monday.-Staff Reporter
