RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 1kg of heroin and 600 grams of hashish from a car near Dina and arrested two suspects on Monday.

In another incident, the ANF arrested another suspect near Chakwal Mor Sohawa and recovered 1.26kg hashish from his possession.

Similarly, the ANF and Airport Security Force arrested and air passenger and recovered 18,000 Xanax tablets from his bags as carrying such a huge quantity of these tablets was illegal. Later he was taken into custody. Xanaxis used to treat anxiety, panic disorders, and anxiety caused by depression.

The arrest was made when the check in of passengers for PIA flight PK-741 for Jeddah was in progress at Islamabad International Airport.
