TAXILA: A woman committed suicide by jumping into the Ghazi Barotha water channel in Dakhainar village in Attock on Monday.

Quoting family members of the victim, police said the woman, who was in her 40s, first exchanged hot words with her husband over some domestic issue and then jumped into a nearby water channel and drowned.

Rescue 1122 divers retrieved the body and shifted it to DHQ hospital for an autopsy.
