LA HORE: The Department of Architecture of COMSAT S University, Lahore campus, organised an exhibition on `Redevelopment of Neelum Riverfront in Muzaffarabad`in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and Archaeology, Azad Jammu & Kashmir Government, on Monday.
The exhibition displayed the proposals made by architecture students to develop and revitalise Muzaffarabad`s dying tourism industry by designing the riverfront as a magnet for sociocultural, recreational and public activities.
The exhibition, which was the result of 12 weeks of ef fort of the students, was inaugurated by Prof Dr Asad Husaain, director CUI Lahore.
Dr Shariyeh Hosseini Nasab, the chairperson of the Department of Architecture, welcomed the participants and guests and gave her remarks about this successful academic and practice collaboration.
The project was initiated by Taimur Sarwar and conducted under the supervision of Hiba Hashmi, assistant professor of the Department of Architecture.
