SNGPL disconnects gas supply to 29 defaulters

LAHORE: The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) on Tuesday disconnected supply to 29 official and special domestic defaulters, which owed the company over Rs7.69 million.

According to a company press release, warning notices had been served on the defaulters, but they failed to clear the dues within the stipulated time after which their connections were severed on Tuesday.

The defaulters included THQ Hospital, Ruldana Road, Murree, owing over Rs1.5 million; Iqbal House PAF Building, Lower Topa Murree Rs1.1 million; Army Medical College lab, Rawalpindi, Rs608,470; Primary School Ghazi Barotha Hydro-Power Project, Attock, Rs327,100; Jhelum DHQ Hospital Rs310,520; Pindigheb Attock THQ Hospital Rs275,450; Masjid Al-Quba, Tarnol, Islamabad, Rs264,280; Cook House, Westridge, Rawalpindi Cantt, Rs251,560; Town Municipal Administration Office, GPO Chowk, Murree, Rs240,030; BOQ 16/13, Tufail Road, Jhelum Rs187,870; Stores Workshop Division Pak PWD Office, Sector G-9/1, Islamabad, Rs182,360; Masjid Fazal-i-Rabi, Jawa Road, Rawat Islamabad Rs157,040; Finance Planning Office, Civil Lines Jhelum Rs153,610; CB Model Primary School, Jhelum Rs151,260, Federal Govt Degree College for Women, Sector I-8, Islamabad Rs143,620; Pakistan Railways Office, Attock Rs142,380; Katcheri Pindigheb, Attock Rs141,270; Secondary School, Dhoke Ramzanian, Tarnol, Islamabad Rs 137,810; Masjid Allah Wali, Talagang, Chakwal Rs137,280; FWO Primary School, Chaklala, Rawalpindi Rs137,240; Local Government Attock Rs134,820; and Pak Youth Hostel Association, Garden Town, Sector G-6/4, Aabpara, Islamabad Rs127,140.
