LAHORE: The Lahore Arts Council marked Kashmir Black Day with a series of impactful events, including art exhibitions and a solidarity walk, on Sunday. Artists displayed powerful works reflecting the resilience and spirit of the Kashmiri people, while participants in the walk raised passionate slogans in support of Kashmiris` right to freedom and self-determination. The air was filled with chants asserting that Kashmiris` sacrifices would not be in vain.

Punjab Secretary for Information and Culture Tahir Raza Hamdani said that the Kashmiri struggle will ultimately succeed.

Alhamra Chairman Razi Ahmed and Executive Director Sarah Rashid also shared their thoughts, emphasising Alhamra`s dedication to amplifying Kashmiri voices and preserving their culture.

The event drew a significant crowd, with attendees carrying Kashmir flags and pledging solidarity. Staff Reporter
