I WOULD like to draw the attention of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board toward the serious problem of sewerage in Surjani Town, New Karachi.
After every two or three days, sewerage water collects on roads, blocking traffic even on the main signal-free road. The road is half filled with water and half with auto-rickshaws, and there is no room for traffic to move on.
In our area (Adam Town, 11-C-1, North Karachi), the sweepers are very careless.
They do not sweep the roads, streets and lanes regularly. Heaps of garbage can be seen everywhere.
The authorities concerned must look into the problems Sarwat Fatima Karachi
