SARGODHA: The alleged murderer of five members of his own family in Ghalapur and Matila, Ahmed Sher Haral, was reportedly killed in a police encounter in the Bhalwal Sadar area, as claimed by the police.

Haral had shot four family members and injured another on Nov 9.

Later, he killed another relative in Kotmomin.

Remaining in hiding since then, he had been issuing threats to his relatives.

RAPED: An eight-yearold girl, who used to attend a Quran reading class with a female teacher in the Muslimabad area, was raped by the brother-inlaw of the teacher.

The Factory Area police have arrestedthe suspect.

ACCIDENT: Loader operator Riaz, a father of five children, was killed at the stone crushing market in Chak 116-SB, under a stone-loaded tractor-trol-ley on a hill.

Locally assembled dumpers, carrying excessive loads of crushed stone, pose threats to traffic on SargodhaFaisalabad Road and other adjoiningroads.

FUNDS: The Divisional Development Working Party, under the chairmanship of Commissioner Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti, has approved the release of funds for the construction of primary health centers in the village of Chant in Tehsil Bhaira.

During the meeting, funds amounting to Rs9.51 million were sanctioned for the construction of a basic health unit, Rs7.31m for a building, and the remaining funds will be allocated for the purchase of medical equipment and beds.

Deputy Commissioner retired Capt Shoaib Ali, Director Bilal Hasan, Deputy Director Rana Shahid Imran, Health CEO Dr Asad Aslam, and other relevant officers attended the meeting.
