TAXILA: Four persons were killed in three different incidents in Taxila and Fatehjang on Thursday and Friday, police sources said.

In the first incident, a man shot dead his brother over a property dispute in the limits of Taxila police station on Thursday.

According to police sources, Rashid Khan had developed some property dispute with his brother Naeem Khan.

On Thursday, he along with his friend came to his house and showered him with bullets killing him on the spot and managed to escape.

In the second incident, two young friends lost their lives when they fell on the road after hitting a pedestrian on HMC road near an overhead bridge in the limits of the same police st ation on Thur sday.

Police sources said that19-year-old Matiullah was going on his motorcycle with his friend when he hit a pedestrian who was crossing the road.

Matiullah and his friend died on the spot while the pedestrian was shifted to hospital in critical condition.

In a similar incident, a teenage motorcyclist was crushed to death by a speeding truck on Rawalpindi road in the limits of Fatehjang police station.

Police sources said that 15-year-old Ahmed Javaid was going on his motorcycle when a truck ran over him killing him on the spot. Later, his body was shifted to tehsil headquarters hospital.

Four POs arrested Police arrested four proclaimed offenders (POs) wanted in different criminal cases including heinous crimes like murder and were declaredabsconders by the relevant courts.

Police spokesman told newsmen on Friday that Hassanabdal police arrested Yaseen Fazal wanted in a murder case, Injra police arrested Lateefullah Khan in a murder case while Jand police arrested Mohammad Arsalan wanted in motorcycles theft case.

Police on Friday arrested a suspect for allegedly attempting to assault a married woman in her house in Kot Fateh Khan in the limits of Fatehjang police station.

Allahdad reported to police that his married daughter was alone at her house when the suspect of the same area entered the house by scaling the wall and attempted to sexually assault her.

The suspect managed to escape when she voiced alarm. Later, Police arrested the suspect.
