THE major reason for high unemployment is high population growth. Our educational system is also to blame as the attitude of our youth towards the choice of career is unrealistic and unproductive. Rapid mechanisation and computer technology are other factors causing unemployment.
Millions of people are poor and overburdened with expenses. It is because of these high expenditures that the country`s savings rate is dismally low and for many a family there is absolutely no monthly saving. Also the high unemployment rate has seen Pakistanis` living standards deteriorating at an alarming rate.
The measures needed to resolve this issue are proper economic planning, consistentgovernment policies, a better law and order situation, overcoming energy crisis, and most of all serving Pakistan with total sincerity.
