GUJRAT: Two siblings died after consuming unwholesome food here on Sunday at Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital.

Police said a family of Karianwala ate routine meal cooked at the house late on Saturday night af ter which a woman and her three children fell ill and were shifted to hospital where 16-year-old Shazia and her 14-year-old brother Shahzaib could not survive.

Their mother and another sister Maryam are said to be stable. Police have taken the meal into custody which they said would be sent to the L ahore Forensic Science Laboratory.
