ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan on Friday met the victorious players of national kabaddi team at the Air Headquarters in Islamabad.

The PAF chief on the occasion felicitated the team for winning the Kabaddi World Cup staged in Pakistan earlier this month. During the interaction, the PAF chief lauded the performance of the players who brought laurels to the country by winning the prestigious event.

Winning the final against arch-rivals India was an icing on the cake, which made the whole Pakistani nation proud, underlined the PAF chief.

He further said that it was a proud moment for PAF that seven players including the captain, Chief Warrant Officer Mohammad Irfan were part of the PAF team, the title holders of national kabaddi championship.

The PAF chief on the occasion also awarded cash prizes to the national heroes.-Sports Reporter
