QUETTA: The Balochistan National Party-Mengal has condemned what it calls the targeted killing of a bodyguard of BNP-M chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal.

In a statement on Friday, member of the organising committee of the BNP-M, Agha Hasan Baloch, said Abdul Karim Mengal died in an early morning attack in Wadh.

He said BNP-M memberswere being targeted by anti-Baloch elements. He aHeged thata`deathsquad` backed by intelligence agencies was carrying out attacks on the party workers and sympathisers.

He said targeted killing and dumping of bodies or enforced disappearances of Baloch people would not force the party leadership to give up its struggle against `oppression He urged the government to immediately arrest the killers.
