QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has got an employee of the Balochistan Development Authority (BDA) arrested for his alleged involvement in corruption.
The provincial deputy director of NAB, Rafiullah, told Dawn that Khalid Jamil, who is a supervisor in the BDA, arrested after ithad been found that he possessed assets beyond his known sources of income.
Mr Rafiullah said Mr Jamil was a grade-9 employee but owned property worth millions of rupees.
A NAB team is conducting an investigation against him.
According to sources, investigation is also under way against some officials of the BDA and other government departments suspected of being involved in corruption.
