BADIN: Lukman Qambrani, a councillor elected from Ward No.1 of Tando Bago town, announced on Monday his decision to rejoin the Mirza group, led by estranged Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and former home minister Dr Zulfikar Mirza. Mr Qambrani had defected to the PPP a few days back.

Speaking at a press conference at the Tando Bago press club on Monday, he said he was ashamed of his earlier decision to desert Dr Mirza.

A senior PPP leader from the area, Khan Sahib Jamali, has accused Dr Mirza of issuing death threats to force Mr Qambrani to return to his group.—
