GUJRAT: Police claimed on Thursday to have repatriated a fugitive from Kuwait through Interpol as he was wanted in a double murder case.

A spokesman for Gujrat police said Iftikhar Ahmed of Gajju Bhalot village was nominated in the murder case of afather and his son on May 23 last, but he fled abroad.

He said the Lalamusa city police initiated the process for the repatriation of the suspect from Kuwait by declaring him a proclaimed offender and his red warrants were got issued through Interpol.

The outlaw is now in the custody of Lalamusa police and being interrogated.
