KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday named participants for the national women team`s preparatory camp to be held ahead of their series against Sri Lanka.

The camp will be organised at the National Stadium, Kar achi from May 7 to 18 before Pakistan host Sri Lanka for three Twenty20 Internationals and as many one-dayers from May 24. All matches will be played at the Southend Club.

Senior players Aliya Riaz, Bismah Maroof, Diana Baig and Fatima Sana will not attend the camp and join the squad for the series on May 17.

The quartet will be taking part in a women`s T20 event in Dubai, while left-arm-spinner Nashra Sandhu will be missing out on the camp due to a shoulder injury, a PCB press release said.
