LAHORE: Pakistan will play two matches against Spain instead of three as scheduled originally in their ongoing tour of Europe, the Pakistan Hockey Federation said Thursday.
The rescheduling took place due to the unavailability of the Spanish players with most of them featuring in league tournaments. Pakistan will now take on the hosts in Tests on May 1 and 4.
Meanwhile, Pakistan will play a one-off match against Belgium on Friday after they drew a two-match series against Netherlands 1-1. Pakistan won the first match 5-3 before the hosts bounced back to beat them 4-1 in the second.
The Pakistan hockey squad also attended a reception held in its honour by the Pakistani embassy in the Netherlands.
