LAHORE: The police arrested a notorious robber of the Katcha area of Sindh and shifted him to the Chuhng Police Station for interrogation.

Identified as Mantar Ali, the robber was wanted by the Sindh Police in a dozen of heinous crimes, including murder and extortion.

A police official said the alleged robber had dodged the Sindh police and was hiding in Lahore. He was arrested by a Dolphin Police team, headed by DSP Mubashir Awan.

The Lahore DIG operations lauded the efforts of the police saying that the strong vigilance of the entry/exit points of the city and extensive patrolling helped the police in arresting the hardened criminal of Katcha area. He said the Lahore police would contact the Sindh police for custody of the criminal.-Staff Reporter
